| About me |
My interest for photography, and the untiring desire to explore its expressive skills, started long time ago: it derives from a natural-born vocation for what I can define "the world of the light an colors".My work experience in the world of visual communication started in the Aosta Valley, in the typographic industry, in those years (1989-1998) I achieved a good mastery of the different tecniques, such as pagination, offset printing process and especially the selection and the management of images.
Afterwards, as I felt growing in me the awareness of my aptitudes, I turn my professionism towards Photography, at the beginning in the typographic industry, and then into freelancing.
Once I joined the Tau Visual, after a qualifying examination, I decided to invest in my vocational training attending different Masters in Still-life and fashion in Milan, where I found a lot of opportunities to widen my experiences and to grow up artistically. In 2001 I opened Stevephoto, my photographic studio, and starting interesting cooperations with the main local advertising and graphic agencies. After a time, as I felt growing in me the desire of exploring, I decided to enlarge my range on all the country and even further. My dream of becoming an "artist of light" is still with me and continues to find confirmation in the opportunities that I meet day by day.

Taking a picture is not just look inside the eypiece, or watching a display of a digital camera and press a button. Taking a picture is observing with your innermost eye the shapes of nature, of a face, of an artwork and express its vitality picking out the best point of view, that is what spontaneously arise from the emotional interpretation of the subject.
Taking pictures is feeling a vibration streaming through the body, is the will of abandon ownself in the memory that will arouse, is attempt, experience, tecnique, passion…sometimes mistake, sometimes satisfaction…is looking for a tuning with colours and shadows, maybe with the innermost hiding I...
